We decided to take a walk around the headland to look at the views. We started walking along the beach to the east of our apartment but soon reached a 'nudie' beach which drove us up onto the track above. Alex was quite bemused by the fact that one man, fully clothed at the top, was dangling his tackle all over the rock he was sat on. Alex vowed not to walk on that rock on the way back!
Mostly we just relaxed, read and had several trips to the sea for a swim. We are very conscious of the fact that Shannon and Chris burn easily and, in this 36 degree heat we are only staying out a little while each time. Shannon is also suffering from the heat – I'm sure its because of her thick hair.
